Named after the mountain you can see from your verandah (but definitely not in anything’s shadow!), Skirrid Fawr has plenty of space to sleep six in comfort and style. Luxury furnishings, delicious welcome ‘goodies’ and a great setting make this a special place to go glamping.
The Blorenge mountain is a favourite with paragliders… but rest assured, its namesake lodge is firmly grounded on the farm! Like Skirrid Fawr, The Blorenge offers luxury glamping with all the space you need for six people, plus storage for bikes, boots, and even paragliders!
Sugarloaf mountain stands tall over Abergavenny; and our Sugarloaf lodge sits at the top of the meadow, which rolls gently down to the stream below… perfect for family glamping holidays, with plenty of space for the children and plenty of luxuries for the adults.
Glamping in Wales
If you’re looking for the perfect holiday hideaway in Wales; a chance to escape, relax and unwind in indulgent comfort, then glamping is for you. Whether you come glamping on your own, with your family or in a group of friends… then you’ve found exactly the right place, nestled on the edge of the Brecon Beacons in South Wales.
Our luxury tented glamping lodges – Skirrid Fawr, The Blorenge and Sugarloaf – are named after three of our seven local hills (yes, like Rome, Abergavenny has seven hills!). Our campsite is nestled in the fields on our 16th century farmstead, with a stream running past, an ancient orchard close-by and sheep and alpacas for neighbours.
But this isn’t any old camp site – your tent comes with a cosy log burner, fully equipped kitchen, three double bedrooms (sleeping 6), large verandah and your very own private hot tub… perfect for ‘sundowners’ with a view of Skirrid mountain. What’s more, the friendly owners are nearby should you need anything. The peace and quiet of the Welsh countryside assures you of a good night’s sleep, as do the comfy king size beds and luxurious cotton bed linens.
If you love the idea of camping but don’t relish the thought of sleeping on a lumpy mat or cooking on a wobbly gas burner, then glamping is for you. Enjoy the comforts of home while still experiencing the joy of the outdoors – get back to nature, experience the best of Wales and its countryside, and still get a great night’s sleep! We hope you’ll love them just as much as we do.
Whether you’re curling-up together in front of our cosy log burner, enjoying a candlelit supper on the verandah or sharing a soak in the hot tub, our glamping lodges are perfect just for two. You’re certainly assured of a peaceful night’s sleep.
Children, bikes, balls and more: they’re all welcome here. With acres of space, a gentle stream to splash about in, the freedom to explore and our farm animals to meet, glamping at Seven Hills Hideaway is a great family get-away.
This isn’t a crazy party venue; we don’t have bright lights or brash nightclubs; but it is a great place to make your own fun! Cold beers, warm BBQs and starry night skies: what are you waiting for?! Book your glamping holiday in lovely Wales now.
